Beautiful Day......
Today was a gorgeous day. Lots of sunshine and a bit of a breeze. My other half finally had a much needed day off and we got to work out together in the gym. I'm always giving him new challenges and being the ex-athlete that he is....he's always up for it. I saw Adam clayton again today...he said hello and was really quite nice. I told him that I heard that the U2 gig the other night was incredible and he agreed that it felt quite good. What a nice, regular guy he seems to be. I'm hoping to see them when they return here next month. I'm off tonight to a friend's sober anniversary party, she is celebrating 8 years......

I hope you don't mind me bringing this up, but I need some help in the fitness/nutrition dept. I don't know if you can or want to give advice but I'll ask anyway.
I am a 36 year old mother of 2. I'm 5ft. 5 1/2 and weigh around 135ish. When I was young I was very athletic. now I look like I'm in shape but I'm not and I hate it. My life is very hectic and stressed and I find it very hard to do any sort of exercise consistantly. I know I do not eat very well. It's not that I eat junk food, I just don't think I get enough good things to eat. 3 years ago I went through an extrememly stressful time and didn't eat much. I was down to 120lbs. My friends thought I was too thin and some made me eat. I think I am too fat now but people think I look good. What is the problem is not that I am too heavy cuz I'm not, I just don't like the tone of it. I do have a small pouch of fat on my lower abdomen that I haven't been able to get rid of from pregnancy. (Kids aged 7 and 10).
Please tell me what to eat (I hate seafood and am allergic to oranges) when, how much and when is the best time during the day to exercise and how to be consistant at it. A problem I have is that when I do exercise, I get REALLY hungry! I think it's because I don't eat good enough. I usually crave protein, like eggs and stuff. Sometimes I even get ill with a cold or something when I start to exercise again. I also start out too strong because I love exercizing and being physical and then I get all sore and then get out of rhythm. I'm also a single mom and cannot afford expensive food that's good for you. Help me please the best you can over the internet. I really want to be strong and fit and healthy! I have a mini trampoline,some small, girly dumbells and light ankle weights.
I tried a rowing machine my friend gave to me and it really hurt my shoulder. It still hurts 4 months later even though I haven't used it since I hurt it. My back gets sore a lot. I think if I strengthen the correct muscles, I won't get sore.
