Hello Again......

Hi all,

I went to see Bon Jovi last night. It was a last minute decision to go......fooled around on ticketmaster and got great seats 2 days before the show. I saw them in 87' and they were great. They are not The Stones or Clapton or Bowie or U2 and they are certainly not The Who......but I do love them. I was always a big Richie Sambora fan even though Jon Bon is very cute. So!!!!
last night was a lot of fun. They were truly GREAT!!!!!! I was very happy to be there and it brought back being 28 which is how old I was when I first saw them. Richie cut his fingers while playing and was bleeding all over himself, his guitar and the stage. Jon made a big deal of it and asked him if he thought he was Pete Townshend???? All in all a great night of Rock and Roll.

going to see bonnie Raitt on Thursday, I invited my mom to go with me....a little mother/daughter bonding. I'll report back

Hello all,

I havn't blogged for awhile so I thought I was due. I'm having my bathrooms re-done and it is lots of work and inconvenience and the kitchen has not even been started. Talk about having your life turned upside down. The weather in NY has been spectacular, really warm and sunny but I know the big chill is coming. I finally purchased the Who dvd from Mansfield, a show that I attended. The quality is great and so was the show. It was a fun weekend, I think Simon also played a gig at The House of Blues the day before. I had never really traveled to see a Who show before not counting Live Aid because that was a global event, it was fun to do but the travel part was a bit of a pain in the ass. I don't know how some Who fans travel all over the place...the time...the money...yuk!!! So watching the Mansfield show was somewhat nostalgic. I was also given a bootleg dvd of the Camden show from 2000 which in my humble opinion was one of the best Who shows I ever attended and watching that was great and sad at the same time. I was in the front row and had a lot of contact with the band throughout the show, especially John and watching it made me a bit sad and very very nostalgic. Pete was on fire that night. I left the show being so blown away that they could still do what they did twenty years before that. speaking of 20 years ago.....the above pictures are from Madison Square Garden in 1979. It was Kenny's birthday and Pete and Roger decided a cake fight would be a grand idea. Everyone was covered in cake! I saw the whole thing beginning to happen and ran as far as I could and escaped the mess. I don't know if Pete or Roger has ever seen these photos.., John did,.there are lots more. I hope you enjoy them.

P.S. If you enlarge the photos there are some other familiar faces peeking around corners, Bill C, Jackie C, Bobby Pridden, Regis (the accountant) Kenny's wife whose name escapes me at the moment, and me.

I didn't take these photos, they were taken by a friend of John's who's name I don't recall.
